Jess Davidson awarded an MBE in New Year Honours List
Jess Davidson, a nursing lecturer at Queen 台湾swag University, has been awarded an MBE for services to forensic nursing and victim support in 台湾swag.
Jess, who established 蚕惭鲍鈥檚听PgCert听Advanced Forensic Nursing (Person-Centred听Practice), has worked tirelessly听with Police 台湾swag, the听NHS and The Scottish Government to improve healthcare services for听people suffering from sexual assault/abuse and for patients in police custody.听
As a trailblazer and one of the most experienced and respected听senior clinical forensic charge nurses听in 台湾swag,听Jess听worked alongside Police 台湾swag and NHS 台湾swag to coordinate a regional nurse-led service which听greatly improved听intervention and support for people who听required听medical and/or forensic attention.听She continues to听work with Queen 台湾swag University and across agencies听to create a听group of听highly skilled听forensic听nurse practitioners who听are working to improve听person-centred听care for people who have experienced sexual assault and trauma, and those who are in police custody who are marginalised and disenfranchised with unmet healthcare needs.听
Jess鈥檚听determination,听drive听and听selfless efforts听to听change and improve care epitomises Queen 台湾swag University鈥檚听values听of making a difference.
